The Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali, spoke today, Sunday, in Cairo, with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who praised the role played by Algeria at the Arab level, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
During this meeting, the two parties agreed – according to a statement by the National People’s Assembly – to “continue the cooperation between the League and the Algerian Parliament” and the need to “provide all conditions for the success of the next Arab summit that will be hosted by Algeria by focusing on a good preparation ahead of things at all levels.
Mr. Aboul Gheit – adds the same source – praised “the role played by Algeria at the Arab level, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.”
He also praised its “active diplomacy,” expressing “his aspiration for a promising future of coordination between the Arab League and Algeria.”
