The President of the National People’s Assembly, Mr. Brahim Boughali, took part Sunday in Brasilia, the inauguration ceremony of the new Brazilian President, Lula Da Silva, said a statement of the parliamentary institution.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Brazilian Congress, where the president-elect was sworn in on the Constitution, in the presence of representatives of many countries, the statement said.
The President of the National People’s Assembly had arrived Friday in Brazil to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new Brazilian President, as representative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
