Security services of the province of Algiers, represented by the judicial police force for the security of the administrative district of Bouzareah, have put an end to two criminal networks specialized in the illicit promotion of drugs, according to a statement issued by the security of the state of Algiers today, Friday.
The source explained that the security services of the state of Algiers represented by the judicial police squad for the security of the administrative district of Bouzareah dealt with two separate cases related to the illegal possession and promotion of narcotics (cannabis and psychotropic substances), which allowed to put an end to two organized criminal networks and the arrest of three (03) suspects.
The two cases enabled the seizure and confiscation of a quantity of psychotropic substances (7305 capsules) and (1.10 kg) of cannabis, in addition to a sum of money estimated at more than (96) million centimes of the national currency, 05 mobile phones of different brands and two tourist cars used to transport drugs.
The parties were presented before the competent regional prosecution after completing all legal procedures, the statement adds.
