Boxing / Arab Championship (juniors): Algeria wins ten medals, including two gold ones

The Algerian boxing team (juniors) won ten medals (2 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze), at the end of the Arab Championship finals which took place yesterday, Saturday, at the Maadi Olympic Complex in Cairo (Egypt).

The two gold medals were awarded to Kaidi Mohamed Fouad (51 kg) and Kanouni Oussama (80 kg), while Bouchegra Moutaz (57 kg), Manhouri Cherif (67 kg), Gherib Ahmed (71 kg), and Khalef Sifeddine (86 kg), Rabach Baraeddine (92 kg) and Maktaa Abderrahim (+92 kg) won silver medals.

The Algerian team finished the competition in second place behind the Egypt, which won first place with 12 medals (8 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze).

In addition to Algeria and Egypt (the organizing country), 11 countries participated in the Arab Championship for the Noble Art, namely: Morocco, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Bahrain and Jordan.
