Brahim Boughali attends the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Angola

The Speaker of the National People’s Assembly (APN), Mr. Brahim Boughali attended, Thursday in Luanda in his capacity as representative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the inauguration ceremony of the re-elected President, Mr. Joao Lourenço who was sworn in, in the presence of several guests, including heads of state and their representatives, said a press release from the APN.

“During their meeting, Mr. Boughali transmitted to the Angolan President the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as well as his wishes for success in his missions to lead his country towards greater progress and prosperity, while assuring him of his readiness to work together with him, with a view to raising the level of bilateral relations to high levels in various fields,” the statement added.

The Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament also met, on the sidelines of this ceremony, the President of the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, Mr. Carlos Vila Nova, with whom he discussed bilateral relations and the ways and means to develop them.
