Britain: King Charles III meets members of the British government for the first time

Members of the British government will meet for the first time with King Charles III, today, Saturday, a few days after British Prime Minister Liz Truss formed her new government.

Ministers will attend a meeting of the Accession Council at St James’s Palace in London, where Charles will be officially crowned King of Britain.

On Thursday, Buckingham Palace announced the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, at Balmoral Castle, Scotland, at the age of 96.
