Cabinet meeting: review of 5 projects of consensual deals to secure supply of drinking water in several provinces

During its meeting today, Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad, the government examined five (5) projects through mere consensual deals with public institutions related to the purification of wastewater and securing the supply of potable water in several provinces, including the capital, according to a press release of the Prime Minister services.

The press release indicated that the government members listened, during its meeting, to a presentation made by the Minister of Water Resources on “five (5) projects that deal with simple mutual consent with public institutions in order to complete works and implement projects within the framework of filtering used water and securing the supply of potable water to some provinces of the country.”

The same source added that in addition to the completion of an additional 100 wells, this investment program aims to secure the supply of safe drinking water in the provinces of Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Blida, Tlemcen, Tizi Ouzou, Algiers, Sidi Bel Abbes, Constantine, Boumerdes, Khenchela, Tipaza, Mila and Naama.
