The Ministry of Health warned, in a statement issued today, Tuesday, against the dangers of using firecrackers and fireworks on the occasion of the commemoration of the Prophet’s birthday (Mawlid), and the incidents that may result from it and which threaten the safety of citizens.
The same source explained that pyrotechnics such as firecrackers and fireworks may cause serious accidents that threaten the safety of citizens, including “fires, the noise caused by the explosion of crackers and the negative effects they have on the comfort of individuals, especially the elderly, the sick, pregnant women and children.”
