Charaf-Eddine Amara elected President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF)

Charaf-Eddine Amara was elected as president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) for the Olympic term 2021-2024. The election took place during the Elective General Assembly (EGA) held Thursday evening in a hotel in the capital.

From a total of 88 voting members, Amara received 75 votes in favor and 13 against.

CR Belouizdad President, Charaf-Eddine Amara was the single candidate for the election of the Algerian Football Federation.

Amara succeeds Kheireddine Zetchi, whose mandate has expired and who did not wish to run for a new mandate at the head of the AFF.
