Civil protection contributes to the national effort of the major national campaign to vaccinate against Covid-19, which began on Saturday and will last until September 11, according to a press release issued by the General Directorate of Civil Protection.
The same source explained that “the contribution of Civil Protection to the success of this important date is to recruit 500 civil protection agents of various ranks, doctors and paramedics.”
The press release stated that Civil Protection “has been contributing to this national effort to vaccinate since last July 24 with medical teams in vaccination operations, especially at the level of popular neighborhoods and for the benefit of public and private bodies and institutions, especially those with heavy disabilities, and this by harnessing enormous material and human capabilities to vaccinate the largest number of citizens.”
