Civil Protection services in the provinces of Chlef and Ain Defla continue their efforts to put out and control several fires that broke out yesterday evening, Thursday, in Sidi Issa forest in the municipality of Tadjna (Chlef) and Annab forest in the municipality of Al-Amra (Ain Defla), according to the same authority.
With regard to the fires that were extinguished and controlled, yesterday, Thursday, the same services were able to put out the fire in Al-Djebbara area in the municipality of Hammam Righa, which left about nine hectares of losses in the forest cover.
Ghilas forest fire in the municipality of Arib was extinguished at around 6:30 p.m., which prevented the fire from spreading to several adjacent residential areas, while losses estimated at 1.5 hectares of woodland and 50 olive trees.
