Council of Ministers: Algeria’s air and land borders reopen as from 1 June

Council of Ministers meeting chaired Sunday by President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, has decided to re-open borders partially.

A five-flight programme from and to the airports of Algiers, Constantine and Oran has been proposed to reopen the country’s borders closed for over one year, but this will be done under “strict compliance” with the anti-Covid-19 preventive measures. More details would be announced in a week.
