National Education Ministry has recently recorded 20 confirmed coronavirus cases at the national level, which required intensification of the vaccination process in the sector, according to what was confirmed by the Director of Cultural, Sports and Social Activities Support in charge of School Health in the Ministry, Abdelouahab Khoulalene.
According to the same official, a decision was taken to amend the date and duration of the winter vacation “for fear that schools will be hotbeds of infection and the spread of the virus the society,” noting that this decision was taken in coordination between the Minister of National Education and the higher authorities in the country.
The spokesman indicated that, “starting tomorrow, Sunday, vaccination operations will intensify for the benefit of the sector’s staff in 1433 detection and follow-up units, in addition to holding departmental councils and posting students grades on digital platforms with respect for all necessary preventive measures.”
