187 new confirmed Coronavirus cases were recorded in Algeria during the last 24 hours while 152 patients recovered and 5 deaths have been recorded, according to spokesperson for the Scientific Committee in charge of monitoring the Coronavirus pandemic in Algeria Dr Djamel Fourar .
During the daily media meeting devoted to presenting the development of Covid-19 epidemiological situation, Dr Fourar explained that the total number of confirmed cases reached 113948 cases, while the total number of recoveries reached 78.824 and the total number of deaths is 3007.
There are currently 19 patients in intensive care, according to the same spokesperson, who added that 19 towns have registered less than nine cases, 22 towns have not registered any case, while 7 other towns have recorded more than 10 cases.
Dr Djamel Fourar stressed on the fact that the current situation of the pandemic requires citizens to be vigilant and to respect rules of hygiene.
