“Culture for All” caravan towards the municipalities of the province of Constantine was launched to promote CHAN 2022.

The “Culture for All” caravan kicked off today, Wednesday, from the House of Culture, Malek Haddad, in Constantine and will tour the various municipalities of the province with the aim of promoting the African football event “CHAN 2022”.

Radia Beldjedoui, head of the Information and Communication Technologies Committee of the Province’s People’s Assembly, who took the initiative to organize this cultural event, indicated that the aim of this caravan, which will last until next March 18, is to disseminate and generalize cultural activities across municipalities, especially those far from the provincial capital.

The spokeswoman highlighted that this diverse cultural activity also falls within the framework of the awareness and promotional campaign and the establishment of a sophisticated culture of citizenship to promote an image worthy of the size of the province of Constantine during the holding of part of the African Nations Championship for local football players (CHAN 2022 postponed to 2023), which Algeria will host from January 13 to February 4, through a special program prepared by the Province’s People’s Assembly to contribute to the success of this continental sporting event.

It’s worth recalling that the governor of the province, Abdelkhalek Sayouda, has previously stressed in several of his periodic meetings with various actors in the field and civil society, the need to present an honorable face to Constantine and to Algeria in general, with the aim of making the seventh edition of CHAN a success to enable Algeria strengthen its candidacy file to host the 2025 African Cup of Nations CAN.
