The agents of the regional mobile brigade specialized in the fight against smuggling (regional customs office Algiers-Exterior), seized during three separate operations carried out in coordination with the services of the Gendarmerie and the National Security, a quantity of 7,143 units of pyrotechnic products (firecrackers and fireworks), specifies the same source.
This operation is part of the implementation of joint control programs on the ground aimed at combating smuggling, in particular of pyrotechnic products, in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens and to ensure the stability of the public order, according to the same press release.
