Algerian Nesrine Houili won the first stage of the International Tour of Syria while her compatriot, Mohamed Amine Nahari, ranked third in the males category.
Houili (19 years old), ran the race in a time of 8 min / 56 sec , ahead of the Syrian Miran Al Fares, who ranked second with (9 mi / 12 sec), while the third place went to the other Algerian participating in this race, Khadija Raoui with 9 min /20 sec.
In the males category, Algerian Mohamed Amine Nahari finished the 8 km race, in third place, with a time of 9 min / 58 sec.
Algeria is represented in the Syria Tour, which takes place in five stages, with eight cyclists: Mohamed Amin Nahari – Ayoub Ferkous – Ayoub Sehairi.
The team is supervised by the National Technical Director Samir Allam, with the assistance of the caregiver Abderrahmane Bouraza and the mechanic Djamel Ould Tourki.
