Forty-five public and private Algerian companies, will participate in the 29th edition of the Dakar International Fair (Senegal), which will take place from December 6-20,said a communiqué of the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion.
These companies are active in various productive sectors, especially the food industries, agricultural products, building materials and cosmetics, in addition to the transport and services sector, according to the same source.
In this international exhibition, these companies benefited from an exhibition area estimated at 600 square meters.
During the opening ceremony, which took place yesterday, Monday, the participants stressed that “the local Algerian products have an important position in the African market in view of their quality, which requires intensified efforts among African countries to raise the quotas of exports outside hydrocarbons.”
They also stressed the need to search for partnership opportunities within the framework of the win-win rule, especially with the entry into force of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
