Death toll from Israeli shelling on Gaza rose to 181 martyrs and number of wounded exceeded 1,200

The Palestinian TV reported today, Sunday, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombing on Gaza Strip has risen to 181 Palestinians martyrs, including more than 50 children and 29 women, in addition to the injury of more than 1,200.

The source quoted ambulance and civil defense teams as saying that they recovered the bodies of 12 martyrs under the rubble of houses, which were bombed by the Israeli warplanes west of Gaza City, bringing the number of martyrs since dawn to 15.

For its part, Palestinian News Agency confirmed that “the brutal Israeli raids caused massive destruction to the targeted areas and to homes and properties of citizens and led to a complete blackout in a number of neighborhoods.”

Israeli warplanes fired, last night, about twenty missiles in several areas in Gaza City, especially in Al-Rimal, Tal Al-Hawa, Sheikh Ajlin, the city center and the vicinity of the Palestine Stadium, according to the Palestinian Agency.

Palestinian reports indicated that thousands of displaced people in Gaza have been forced to seek refuge in UNRWA schools, mosques and hospitals, in light of the continued bombing and limited access to water, food and healthcare services.
