Democratic Path Party denounces the draft laws proposed by el-Makhzen regime

The political bureau of the Moroccan Democratic Workers’ Path Party took stock of the exacerbation of high prices affecting basic products, which ravaged the remaining purchasing power of the Moroccan citizen.

The party warned – according to the local press today, Wednesday – against the negative repercussions of the drought on the daily life of the people, especially in marginalized areas, not to mention the exacerbation of unemployment, especially among young people, and the growing vulnerability among citizens.

The party expressed its rejection to throw hundreds of male and female workers, into the street and close dozens of production units without any initiative to launch a real policy of employment and the creation of productive jobs.

It condemned the continuous series of closure of industrial enterprises and the displacement of workers and the arbitrary expulsion to which they are subjected, denouncing the expropriation of the right of ownership of family inherited lands.

Finally, the party demanded the reversal of all increases in the prices of basic products in the people’s livelihood and the application of the moving scale of wages.
