General Directorate of Civil Protection announced that its units are currently working to put out 31 forest fires across 14 provinces.
The Directorate General explained in a statement published on its official Facebook account that 10 fires broke out in Tizi Ouzou, 04 in Jijel province forests, and 02 fires in Bouira, Setif, Khenchla, Guelma and Bejaia provinces.
Fires were recorded also in the forests of Bordj Bou Arreridj, Boumerdes, Tiaret, Medea, Tebessa, Blida and Skikda provinces, adds the statement.
The statement added that a fire was recorded in the forests of Bordj Bouariridj, Boumerdes, Tiaret, Medea, Tebsa, Blida and Skikda provinces.
