Distribution of more than 6 thousand housing units in various formats in Constantine

A ceremony was held, today, Saturday, in Constantine, to distribute 6,628 houses in various formats, in the presence of local authorities and beneficiaries.

2,873 housing units in the form of rent-sale to the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL) are located in the municipality of Didouche Mourad, and 2,000 units within the same formula were completed in the western expansion of the administrative district of Ali Mandjeli.

The governor of the province, Ahmed Abdelhafid Sassi, stated, on this occasion, that by distributing this share of housing, the province of Constantine has rolled out the program of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (AADL) allocated to it, estimated at 16,150 units, praising at the same time the efforts made by the local and central administrations to complete this housing program.

The ceremony was also marked by the distribution of 523 subsidies to rural housing for the benefit of citizens living in several municipalities in the province, in addition to 150 public rental housing.

The distribution of this “important” share of housing, which took place prior to the celebration of Eid al-Adha, is part of the commemoration of the 59th anniversary of Independence and Youth Day.

In a statement he made to the press at the end of this ceremony, the Governor stated that efforts are on going to implement the programs decided by the state aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens.

The occasion was an opportunity to name the 2000 housing site after the martyr Mohamed Cherif Koulfa in the district of Ali Mendjeli, which hosted the ceremony of distributing this share of housing.
