The national football team coach Djamel Belmadi congratulated the national under-17 team after winning the Arab cup by defeating Morocco (4-2 on penalty kicks) in the final match which took place on Thursday in Sig Stadium.
The congratulatory message published today, Saturday, by the Algerian Football Federation on its official website, said, “After less than a year since the crowning of the seniors in the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, here are the juniors repeating the same achievement after a distinguished journey and a unique final match.”
The coach of the Greens added, “I take this opportunity to send my warmest congratulations to all the members of the national under-17 team for this wonderful achievement”.
It is worth noting that the next official match for the U-17 national team will be in April 2023 on the occasion of the African Cup of Nations finals hosted by Algeria.
