A traffic accident that occurred on Thursday night in the province of Djelfa caused the injury of six people of varying severity, according to Civil Protection services.
According to the person in charge of information at the Directorate of Civil Protection, Lieutenant Abderrahmane Khader, the secondary unit of the city of Sidi Ladjal (135 km north of the province) intervened during a traffic accident that represented a serial collision of three tourist cars on the axis of National Road No. 40 in its section, linking Sidi Ladjal and Hassi Faddoul.
The accident resulted in the injury of six persons of varying severity and whose ages ranged between 28 and 65 years, including two women.
For its part, the gendarmerie has opened an investigation to find out the causes and circumstances of this accident.
