One person died and four others were injured in a traffic accident that occurred today, Sunday, in the municipality of Al-Keddid (west of Djelfa), according to the civil protection services.
The information manager at the Directorate of Civil Protection, First Lieutenant Abderrahmane Khader, indicated that first aid from the secondary unit in al-Charef intervened following a traffic accident resulting from a direct collision between two tourist cars on National Road No 46.
This accident caused the death of a 30-year-old man, while four others (25 to 40 years old) were injured and were transferred quickly to the Al-Charef municipal Hospital.
For its part, the National Gendarmerie opened an investigation to find out the causes and circumstances of this incident.
