
The French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna, praised a squadron of Algerian fighters escorting French President Emmanuel Macron’s plane as he left Algerian airspace after a three-day official visit.
In a tweet on her official account on Twitter, Ms. Colonna wrote, “After the signing of the Algeria Declaration by the two countries’ presidents, this exceptional gesture of a squadron of Algerian fighters escorting the plane of the (French) President of the Republic as he left Algerian airspace after his visit.”
Yesterday, Saturday afternoon, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, ended his three-day official visit to Algeria.
On his departure from Houari Boumediene International Airport, Mr. Macron was bid farewell by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
