ETUSA launches an electronic application to facilitate transportation through its bus network

The Urban and Semi-Urban Transport Corporation of Algiers (ETUSA) launched today, Monday, an electronic application called “ETUSA Mob” to help its customers navigate easily through its bus network.

The launch of the “ETUSA Mob” application and the foundation’s website www.etusa.dz was announced during an inspection visit by the Minister of Transport, Aïssa Bekkai, to the company’s bus maintenance workshop “Ahmed Ghermoul” in the municipality of Sidi M’hamed in Algiers.

The application allows the user of the National Urban and Semi-Urban Transport Corporation of Algiers to find and program the route of trips from their location point to their direction point and view the transport network of the institution with the possibility of choosing the station and the transit lines in it and navigate the network through an application that allows them to find all the nearby stops.

During a speech on the occasion, Bekkaï said that the “ETUSA” Foundation is a “citizenship institution that has understood the meaning of public service, which is based on continuity and conformity with the needs of the citizen and serving the citizen with impartiality.”

For his part, the Director-General of the Urban and Semi-Urban Transport Corporation of Algiers, Yacine Karim, considered that digitization is one of the foundations of the corporation’s strategy, according to the willful instructions of the ministry and the government’s work program to improve service and get closer to the customer.
