Evacuation of Algerian nationals injured in the armed attack in Mali, by order of the President of the republic

Algerian nationals injured in the armed attack perpetrated in the suburbs of Gao (Mali) were repatriated on Tuesday morning, by order of the President of the Republic, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who assigned a medicalized military plane to their transport and transfer to the Aïn Naâdja Military Hospital, said a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad.

“On the orders of the President of the Republic, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the repatriation of Algerian nationals injured in the armed attack perpetrated in the suburbs of Gao, Mali on the night of Friday July 8, was carried out early today, when the President decided to assign a medicalized military plane to the transport and transfer of the wounded to the Mohamed-Seghir-Nekkache military hospital in Aïn Naâdja”, reads the press release.

“Prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, in coordination with the authorities of the Republic of Mali, this operation was carried out diligently by the services of the Ministry of National Defence”, specified the same source.

This operation – adds the statement – “received the approval of the families and companions of the wounded, who expressed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the President of the Republic and the Supreme Command of the National People’s Army.”
