Civil protection elements managed to put out a fire that broke out on Sunday afternoon in the Neurology Department of Khalil Amrane University Hospital in the province of Bejaia.
A Civil Protection statement indicated that, as soon as the fire broke out, all material and human resources were mobilized and intervention was made at the level of the Neurology Department at Khalil Amrane University Hospital, in the province of Bejaia, where the flames were controlled.
The same statement stressed that the fire did not cause any causalities, whether among patients or hospital workers, while the patients in that department were transferred to another department.
