The Minister of Communication, Mr. Mohamed Bouslimani, gave this Saturday the kick-off of the shooting of the life and struggle of the martryr Mohamed Belouizdad, a movie produced by the Algerian Public Telelvision EPTV. The Minister was accompanied by, Algiers governor and EPTV managers led by the Director General Nadir Boukabes.
On the sidelines of this ceremony, the Minister of Communication assured that this feature film will retrace all the important stages of the late militant Belouizdad, who was among the first to plan the outbreak of the war of liberation and president of the secret organization (OS).
“Mohamed Belouizdad is an Algerian hero who dedicated his life and his youth for the independence of Algeria. He is now an example for young Algerians, hence the importance of film, “added the Minister.
Directed by Rachid Belhadj, the end of shooting of the film is scheduled for next June, according to the scenarist Mourad Oubasse.
