FM Headquarters named after Mudjahid and distinguished diplomat, late Mohamed Seddik Benyahia

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabri Boukadoum, announced today, Monday, that the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, decided to name the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters after the former head of Algerian diplomacy Mohamed Seddik Benyahia,.

On his Twitter account, Minister of Foreign Affairs Boukadoum wrote: “39 years have passed since the martyrdom of Mudjahid and distinguished diplomat Mohamed Seddik Benyahia, accompanied by a group of the finest sons of Algeria, after his plane was targeted by a missile while he was on a reconciliation mission to end the war between Iraq and Iran.

In honor of his career and his efforts, the President of the Republic decided to honor the headquarters of Foreign Ministry Headquarters by giving it the name of late Mohamed Seddik Benyahia
