FM Lamamra discusses with Nigerian President strategic bilateral relations and ways to promote them

Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, was received, Sunday, in Niamey, by Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum. The meeting constituted an opportunity to discuss the strategic bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to promote them.

Ramtane Lamamra wrote in a tweet on his official account on Twitter: “I had the honor today to meet President Mohamed Bazoum, upon my arrival in Niamey on a working visit. We had rich consultations on strategic bilateral relations and ways to promote them, as well as on multilateral cooperation to serve the goals of peace, security and stability in the region.

Lamamra explained that the consultations also included “the most important developments in the region and at the continental level.”

Earlier today, Ramtane Lamamra embarked on a two-day working visit to the Republic of Niger in his capacity as a special envoy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
