Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra received Wednesday, in Algiers, a Russian parliamentary delegation led by the chair of the Russian Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Viktor Bondarev who is on official working visit to Algeria from 17 to 20 May.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting constituted an “opportunity to review relations between the two countries and the prospects for strengthening them, especially the role played by parliamentary diplomacy as an important source of bilateral cooperation. Both sides also discussed some developments in the international arena.”
