Football / Arab Cup for U-20: Algeria qualifies for the final after beating Tunisia (2-0)

The Algerian national under-20 football team qualified for the Arab Nations Cup final after defeating its Tunisian counterpart 2-0 (first half: 0-0), today, Saturday, in Cairo, in the playoffs, to play against Saudi Arabia next Tuesday.

The striker of the “FAF” Academy, Mohamed Rafik Omar, stood out among “the greens”, by scoring two goals (68 and 77 mins), to lead the national team to the final, where it will face the Saudi “Green” at the International Stadium in Cairo on Tuesday at 20.00 local time (19.00 Algeria time).

Saudi team qualified earlier in the day after beating Egypt, the organizing country, 3-2 in the first semi-final match.

The Saudi youth eliminated, in the last round, the champion and the guest of honor, Senegal, with penalty kicks 3-2, after the regular time ended with a 1-1 draw.
