Former Algerian Radio journalist Barhoum Boudjemaa died at the age of 75 after a long illness, Radio said on Wednesday.
The deceased, one of the pioneer journalists of National Radio, distinguished himself in the late 1960s thanks to his unique voice in the presentation of the news.
He also contributed to the training of several generations of Radio journalists.
The Minister of Communication, Mr. Mohamed Bouslimani presented, in this painful circumstance, “his sincere condolences and his compassion to the family of the deceased and to the whole of the corporation, praying Allah Almighty to gratify him with His holy mercy and to lend his family patience and comfort”.
