Algerian national team of local players defeated its guest, the Liberian first team, yesterday, Thursday, in a friendly match, with a heavy score of 5-1 (first half: 2-1), at the new Olympic Stadium of Oran.
ES Setif star, Mohamed Amoura, managed to score four goals (39th, 41st, 46th and 67th minutes), before his teammate Bilal Messaoudi added the fifth goal through a penalty kick (84th minute).
The Liberian team was the first to score in the 24th minute of the first half through Gurley Murphy.
This friendly match is part of the preparations of the local national team to compete in the Arab Cup of Nations, organized by the International Federation of the Football next December in Qatar.
The local national team will also participate in the African Nations Championship for local teams in Algeria in 2023, in its second participation, after it failed to qualify for the previous tournament, after reaching the semi-finals of the 2011 edition in Sudan.
