Government draft work plan for sectors of communication, agriculture and digitization at the heart of government meeting

Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, chaired, on Saturday, a government meeting, devoted to studying the government draft work plan and presentations related to the sectors of communication, agriculture and digitization, according to a press release of the services of the Prime Minister.

During this meeting, which took place at the Government Palace, and according to the agenda, members of the government listened to (04) presentations made, respectively, by the ministers in charge of the sectors of communication, agriculture and digitization.

The same source stated that, “Initially, the government studied the government draft action plan, in anticipation of presenting it to the next meeting of the Council of Ministers,” to then listen to a presentation by the Minister of Communication on “the preliminary draft of the organic law related to the media” and the “preliminary draft of the law relating to audiovisual media.”

On the other hand, “the government heard a presentation by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research on a preliminary draft of a law amending Law No. 20-01 of March 30, 2020, which defines the tasks, formation and organization of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technologies.”

The government also listened to a presentation by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on “a draft executive decree specifying the conditions and modalities for granting lands belonging to the state’s private property, to be reclaimed within the framework of concession.”

Finally, the government listened to a presentation by the Minister of Digitization and Statistics on “the project of concluding a simple consensual deal between the National Statistics Office and the Algérie Telecom “Mobilis” ATM within the framework of the completion of the sixth general census of population and housing (RGPH), according to the same source.
