The government examined, today Wednesday, during a regular meeting chaired by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad, five over-the-counter contracts with public companies, related to construction, follow up and control of the reinforcement works of the secondary runway of Algiers aerodrome.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister office, these reinforcement works are necessary to cover the damage recorded at the secondary runway level as well as to upgrade the airport in order to meet international standards as specified by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
