The Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, chaired today Wednesday, a government meeting held via videoconference, during which draft executive decrees related to several sectors were examined, according to a statement of the Prime Minister’s services. During its weekly meeting, the government considered the following points:

A draft executive decree amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 20-312 of November 15, 2020, containing the conditions and modalities for granting a customs license for refurbished production lines and equipment within the framework of activities for the production of goods and services was submitted.

It is worth noting that the introduced amendments aim to further simplify the procedures for granting customs licenses for the refurbished production lines and equipment.

Meanwhile, a presentation was made on the prospects for reviving the National Branch of Electrical Industries and promoting exports of equipment and services emanating from this branch.

It should be noted that choosing this branch is justified by the opportunities offered by the national market, according to the development of national capacities for production, transmission and distribution of electric energy, which constitutes an advantage for the development and revival of this branch.

Furthermore, this choice is due to the diversity and quality of locally produced electrical products and equipment, which provides opportunities for export and diversify our economy outside of hydrocarbons.
