Graduation of two batches of officers and agents of re-education at the National School for Personnel of Prison Administration in Kolea

Two batches of officers and agents of re-education will graduate tomorrow, Sunday, at the National School for Prison Administration Staff in Kolea (Tipaza), after a 12-month wait, according to a Ministry of Justice press release.

The source explained that the two batches included 437 trainees, including 100 re-education officers and 337 re-education assistants, who continued training alternating between theoretical studies and applied activities according to training programs adapted in line with the requirements of prison reform, based on modernizing the administrative and financial management of penal institutions and promoting educational, health and psychological activities for prisoners.

The training programs aim, the statement adds, to create conditions for the social reintegration of prisoners within international standards for the protection and respect of human rights. Accordingly, graduates will be directed to work in penal institutions in accordance with the modern punitive policy based on the social reintegration of prisoners and the consolidation of the values ​​of citizenship and respect for laws.
