Sonatrach’s CEO, Toufik Hakkar, was elected today, Thursday in Algiers, president of the Algerian Gas Industry Association, during the association’s ordinary general assembly, according to a press release of the association.
The Algerian Gas Industry Association organized its regular general assembly in the presence of its legal representatives to present the outcome of the association’s work for the past three years 2019-2021 and to discuss and approve its work plan for the next three years 2021-2023, according to the same source.
The Algerian Gas Industry Association is a platform for exchanging experiences between actors in this field, as well as a forum for dialogue on the developments and newscast for this industry in Algeria.
This association includes all Algerian companies specialized in the gas industry, and it is a legal member of the International Gas Union
