The CEO of Sonatrach group Touffik Hakkar received today, at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Sonatrach, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Producing Countries “OPEC” Haitham Al-Ghais as part of his official visit to Algeria.
The meeting between the two parties was an opportunity to examine the most important points of view regarding the developments and challenges of the oil market, as well as the directives of the Organization of Petroleum Producing Countries “OPEC” in order to coordinate jointly to contribute to ensuring balance for global oil markets.
The opportunity allowed the Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Producing Countries, Mr. Haitham Al-Ghais, to view a presentation made by the CEO of Sonatrach, which included the strategy and the most important future projects of the group and Sonatrach’s contribution as an active producer in the organization.
