Hammadi: Rational planning in the preparation of tourist expansion areas is a necessity

Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts Yacine Hammadi, stressed today, Tuesday, from the municipality of El Milia (east of Jijel), the need to adopt rational planning in the preparation of tourist expansion areas.

After listening to the presentation on the tourist expansion area, ” Ouedi Z’hour “, Hammadi highlighted that “the legal nature of the lands belonging to the areas of tourist expansion may prevent their preparation and prevent their exploitation, which will affect the areas that can be developed.”

In a statement to the press, the minister revealed that the national tourism real estate portfolio includes 249 tourist expansion areas, 25 of which were recently classified and 224 were classified back in 1988”

Hammadi stated that the number of tourist expansion areas that require geographical corrections after the changes or errors found amounts to 122 areas at the national level.

The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts attended, on Monday evening, at the Boumarchi waterfront in the center of Jijel, a lively concert, where the holidaymakers enjoyed the artistic performances presented as part of the entertainment program for the 2022 summer season.
