A special weather bulletin of the National Meteorological Office reported today, Sunday, that the heat wave will continue in several regions of the country until Monday, when temperatures will reach 49 degrees in the southern provinces of the country.
Accordingly, this heat wave will affect the provinces of Skikda, Annaba and Tarf, where temperatures will range between 40 and 42 and between 44 and 45 in the provinces of M’sila and West Batna, according to the bulletin.
As for the provinces of El Oued, Touggourt and Batna, temperatures will reach 49 degrees, adds the bulletin that put these provinces in the “orange” category.
