Some provinces of the country will be affected, starting from this evening, Saturday, by heavy rain, sometimes in the form of showers, according to a special bulletin of the National Meteorological Office.
The bulletin, which came with an “orange” warning degree, and whose validity extends from 9PM tonight to 9PM tomorrow, Sunday, stated that the weather disturbances will affect the provinces of Ain Timouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Mascara, Sidi Bel Abbas, Relizane, Chlef, Ain Defla, Tipasa, Algiers and Boumerdes. The expected amount of rain, which will be accompanied by strong winds in the form of storms, is expected to range between 20 and 40 mm, or exceed 40 mm locally.
Rain will also affect Bel Abbas, Adrar, Timimoun from Saturday at three PM until Sunday at three AM, reaching between 20 and 30 millimeters, and the disturbances will extend to the provinces of Ouargla, South Touggourt and El Oued from Saturday at nine PM until Sunday nine AM, the average rainfall ranges between 20 and 40 millimeters.
