High temperatures reaching 49 degrees to hit a number of southern provinces

A severe heat wave will hit, on Monday and Tuesday, several provinces of the south of the country, with temperatures reaching 49 degrees, as announced today, Monday, by the National Meteorological Office in a special bulletin.

The special bulletin, which was put at the “orange”, degree of vigilance indicated that the provinces of Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Adrar, Ain Saleh, Timimoun and Ouargla, will be hit by high temperatures ranging between 48 and 49 degrees.

The Office also stated that the special bulletin concerning the current June 26th remains valid.
