The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Badari, will supervise, tomorrow, Wednesday, the installation of members of the intersectoral committees in charge of programming, coordinating, promoting and evaluating scientific research and technological development activities, according to a ministry statement issued today, Tuesday.
The statement indicated that the installation ceremony, which will take place at the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Algiers “Ziania”, is an opportunity to emphasize “the importance attached to research, development and innovation through the work of the ten committees, especially with regard to programming activities for research, development and innovation, through the preparation of research and development topics by the institutions of the public and private economic and social partners.
This new approach to programming research topics comes within the framework of “bridging some gaps in the process of selecting research projects” – according to the ministry’s statement – which emphasized that “various institutions prepare the topics to be finalized by joint sectoral committees and announced for the benefit of the scientific and research community to be published in Projects, selected according to national priorities.
