Sonatrach held its Ordinary General Assembly today, Monday in Algiers, during which its 2023 budget was approved, according to a statement issued by the same company.
During this Ordinary General Assembly, Sonatrach adopted the medium-term development plan 2023-2027 related to production, investment and marketing, as well as financial financing for investment and operation.
During this General Assembly, the development of energy markets and the challenges of the oil and natural gas industry were discussed in light of the geopolitical and climate changes the world is witnessing, the statement adds.
The proceedings of the General Assembly took place under the chairmanship of the Minister of Energy and Mines, with the participation of its members, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the Bank of Algeria and a representative of the Presidency of the Republic in accordance with the institution’s statute, and members of the Board of Directors and auditors, according to the same source.
