The Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry, Ali Aoun announced Tuesday in Algiers that the production unit of insulin pens, “Biothera” under the group “Biocare”, will start its activity by January 15.
Speaking during a working and inspection visit to the Sanofi production plant in Sidi Abdallah (West Algiers) in the company of the Governor of Algiers, Abdennour Rabehi, Mr. Aoun said that this production unit “is already ready”.
It should be noted that this unit will be the first to ensure local production of injectable single-use insulin for diabetics.
