The CEO of the AlgerieTelecom Group, Khaled Zarat, was appointed as a member of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technologies, according to a presidential decree issued in the latest Official Gazette.
The primary role of this body is to “ensure communication and coordination among the various ministerial departments by expressing opinions and recommendations on all topics related to scientific research and technological training.” These advisory opinions expressed by the council will allow “activating relations among the university, research centers, ministerial departments and the economic and social environment.”
